My wife, Liz and I have been married for about 5 years. We are both personal trainers and we both have a very strong passion for health and fitness. In high school, Liz lettered in basketball, tennis, and soccer. As if that was not enough, she was also the MVP of her basketball team and of her tennis team. After that, she played club soccer at Baylor University (where we met).
In the last couple of years she has enjoyed entering women's fitness competitions and this year she won several events in her age group at the Women's Tri-Fitness World Challenge. She really enjoys these competitions and she even loves eating and training for them as well!
Liz trains at Power Play Fitness (the same gym that I do my Dallas Youth Training Camps at) and she absolutely loves helping people get into the best shape of their lives'. I think her favorite aspect of being a trainer is the fact that she gets to help people get into better shape than they ever thought was possible. She knows that anyone can get into fantastic shape regardless of their genetics if they simply follow a quality plan to get there.
So many people put limits on themselves and their physical potential, not realizing that they are truly capable of looking and feeling as good as they want to. Liz enjoys helping people break through those self-imposed limits and develop the body that they truly want.
Liz has a very sweet nature, is encouraging to everyone around her, and seems to always be smiling. I think these traits greatly contribute to her success as a trainer because anyone who is working to achieve a worthwhile goal gets discouraged every now and then and when that happens to one of Liz's clients, she is always there to pick them up and keep them going. She makes it her goal to make sure that her clients reach their goal. She believes strongly in the work she does, she is very passionate about it, and she truly cares about the people she trains.
